In the eighteen installments of this virtual newsletter turned into a magazine, we have presented articles authored by forty-one experts, scholars in their disciplines, and frankly, not even in the most enthusiastic forecasts did we imagine this scenario.
The publication has earned its place and it is our commitment to advance in this line of tasks, we refer to the diversity of topics and the depth of analysis in the topics addressed in each issue.
We were born in the midst of a pandemic and today we look perplexed at the new normality. New? Normal? Surely these must be the questions that so many scientists are asking. The health issue has left us with a chronic alert, climate change is accelerating without countries applying the necessary measures that affect their own interests for the benefit of humanity. Famines continue their course, the "nation" of exiles scattered around the world grows in number of victims and wars -including the one in Ukraine- continue their march with the sequel of death, pain, destruction and uprooting.
Immersed in this storm, we walk towards the future guided by the hope of reaching a time of change. Letters, arts and crafts build their mission in that sense. This is Hilario's destiny as a means of communication, to inspire wills and arouse concerns, and we intend to do it together with you.
